Michael Killmer, Brand Manager
Killmer joined the Templeton Rye family in early 2006 when he became Templeton Rye's first employee. Before Templeton Rye ever came out of the barrel he helped with the label designing process. That year he launched the legendary Batch 1 in the state of Iowa and was integral in bottling it as well. Killmer now leads both markets for Templeton Rye whiskey in Iowa and Illinois.
His many talents include being head mixologist for Templeton Rye creating dozens of cocktail recipes and can be found guest bartending around the cities. Rye education is his specialty training the industry professionals and public on the nuances of rye and the history and execution for the classic cocktails.
